Joshua 24:23-25

²³Joshua said,^[a] “Now put aside the foreign gods that are among you and submit to^[b] the Lord God of Israel.”

²⁴The people said to Joshua, “We will worship^[c] the Lord our God and obey him.”^[d]

²⁵That day Joshua drew up an agreement^[e] for the people, and he established rules and regulations^[f] for them in Shechem.
